ABOUT

I’M NT HERE T HYPE YU UP.
I'M HERE T MAKE SURE YU'RE PRTECTED.

You were probably never taught to ask what’s in your name, what happens to the house, or where you’d stand if something changed. That’s not a failure. The system was never set up to tell you. I’m here to change that.

Get Your 50 is where you stop guessing and start knowing. It’s not about being entitled to half of anything. It’s about being an equal partner who knows what’s happening while it’s happening. Truth without judgment. Tools you can use today. And a voice that sounds like your smartest, most honest friend.

I DON’T SELL EMPOWERMENT, I SHOW YOU EXACTLY WHERE YOU STAND.

THE PROBLEM WAS NEVER YOU.
IT WAS THE SYSTEM.

You were never taught to ask whose name is on the deed, what’s in the retirement accounts, or what happens to the business if something changes. The defaults, the paperwork, and the institutions weren’t built to keep you informed, so it’s easy to go years without knowing where you stand.

My mission is simple: to close that gap. I’ve spent my career inside the legal and banking systems that decide who’s protected, and I translate what I know into practical tools you can use right away. Not theory. Not hype. Just a clear picture of what you own, a plan to fix what’s missing, and the confidence to be an equal partner who knows what’s happening while it’s happening.

THIS ISN’T A DATING BOOK.
IT'S A POWER (PLAY)BOOK

This isn’t relationship advice. Part manifesto, part strategy guide, Never Date a Broke Dude exposes the costly lies women are taught about love, money, and worth. Because let’s be honest, who you choose is one of the biggest investments you’ll ever make.

I DIDN'T GRW UP PWERFUL,
I LEARNED HW TO BECME IT

I’m Pattie. Twenty five years in financial services, most of it as the only woman in the room, watching women find out too late what they were actually standing on.

The first one was my mother.

We came here from Iran when I was seven. In Iran she was somebody. Her own career, her own income, nobody to ask. Here she couldn’t practice, the exam was in English, and the woman who ran her own life became a woman who had to ask.

I was ten when I understood what that cost her. After every fight she’d walk me back to the room I shared with my brother, shut the door, get down to my level, and whisper. The fight was already over and she still whispered.

No matter how much money your husband makes, you always control your own money. Because whoever controls your money controls you.

Then she’d make me promise.

She left him when I was twenty five and came to live with me in Chicago. I was making thirty thousand dollars a year, and it was the first time leaving was even possible for her, because someone else could carry her. She took her own life a few months later. Not having money of her own is why she stayed, and staying is what killed her.

I was told for years that I wasn’t smart and talked too much. Dyslexia and ADHD, both unnamed. One teacher put me in an AP class I hadn’t asked for, and that was the moment I stopped believing I was incapable. Everything after moved fast. Law school, the bar in two states on the first try, prosecutor, then finance, where I became the top performer in every role I held. Not by luck. By learning how power actually works.

It took me years to walk away from a controlling relationship. When I finally did, I had my own money, my own career, my own life. I had somewhere to go.

My mother didn’t. That’s the whole thing.

Get Your 50 does not mean taking half of what your husband owns. It means knowing what you own, what he owns, what you signed, and what your name is attached to, while your marriage is happening rather than after it ends. And money in your own name that nobody has to approve.

Your marriage may be wonderful. It may last forever. This isn’t about leaving. It’s about never having to wonder where you stand, so if your life changes tomorrow, you already know, and nobody else decides it for you.

My mother made me promise.

This is me keeping it.

Know your money. Protect your future.
Go get your 50.

MY APPROACH TO KNOWING WHERE YOU STAND AND GETTING YOUR 50

PROTECTION ISN'T ONE CONVERSATION. IT'S THREE THINGS YOU HAVE TO KNOW.

Most women are told to trust the plan. Nobody tells them what the plan actually says. Knowing what you own without knowing what you signed leaves you exposed. Knowing both without money of your own leaves you stuck. The three work together or they don’t work.

01 KNOW

What you own, what he owns, and what the two of you own together. Not what you’ve been told. What the records say. The house, the accounts, the business, the policies, the retirement. Every one of these is a document you can pull, and you can start today

What your name is on and what you signed. Titles, deeds, loans, beneficiaries, operating agreements, the papers handed to you at a closing you never read. Most of it isn’t hidden. It was set up once and never updated, and it still governs what happens to you.

Money in your own name that nobody has to approve. Your own account, your own credit, your own assets, funded on purpose and not in secret. This is the part that turns knowing into choice.
